On 25 April 2026, Capstone Debate transformed its centre into a labyrinth of logic and laughter for its Spring Treasure Hunt Night, bringing together students across multiple teams for an unforgettable evening of friendly competition and fun.

The premise was simple but irresistible: Capstone’s arch nemesis, Captain Misreason, had stolen the centre’s trophies, and it was up to our students to win them back. Divided into six teams, Mudkip, Sprigatito, Charmander, Torchic, Piplup, and Charizard, students raced through a series of rooms, each packed with debate-themed challenges that put their skills and teamwork to the test. With the clock ticking and clues to collect, the pressure was on from the very start.

What made the evening so special was how naturally it brought the community together. Students who are used to facing each other across the debate floor found themselves laughing, strategising, and cheering each other on in equal measure. The competitive spirit was very much alive, but so was the camaraderie that makes this community so wonderful.

We are incredibly proud of every student who took part and grateful to everyone who helped make the night such a success. This is exactly the kind of joyful, creative learning that defines what Capstone Debate is all about. Here is to many more nights like this one!
