What students do in class

The Capstone Official Teams are selected competitive squads for students who have demonstrated advanced skill and strong performance over time. Selection exercises include debates and matter tests. Capstone’s debate teachers review each student collectively before deciding whether they are ready for Official Team B or Official Team A.

How students progress

Selected students represent Capstone at major competitions and continue training at a high competitive level. Entry is through Capstone’s separate twice-yearly selection process.

Established secondary competitors taking part in Capstone’s separate internal selection process. Entry is decided collectively by the debate teaching team.
