This year, 18 Capstone debaters have been selected to join the Team Hong Kong national debate team pool for WSDC 2026, our highest number ever.

6 exceptional debaters have been inducted into the main team pool, training for the chance to represent Hong Kong on the world stage at WSDC Kenya 2026.

12 rising stars earned their place on the development team, where they’ll receive high‑level coaching as they work toward future national team selection.

WSDC is the most prestigious international English-language debating competition for high school students. It brings together the brightest young minds from across the globe to engage in intellectually rigorous debates on world issues. This year’s national team selection pool has been the largest and most competitive and we’re thrilled to see our debaters represent us and Hong Kong on a global stage.

This achievement is a testament to the relentless dedication, grit, and passion shown by our debaters and instructors. We’re equally proud of all of our debaters who reached the final trials, your hard work does not go unnoticed, and your time will come.
