On 7 December 2025, we hosted the HKPSDC Mixer, co-organized by Capstone and Malvern College Hong Kong. As part of the largest and most inclusive debate tournament for primary students in Hong Kong, this event set the stage for an unforgettable competition by helping participants form teams and build connections.
The mixer event gave the opportunity for students coming from a school without a strong debate culture to find a teammate for competition and to make friends. It also helped students to be paired up according to their skills level.
Forming Teams
The Mixer gave students the opportunity to meet their teammates and start working together ahead of the tournament. Through a debate round, participants learned how to collaborate effectively and prepare for the challenges of competitive debating.
