We are delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our students at the Asia Pacific WSDC 2025, held from 3-4 January 2026. Our debaters brought home three U16 Finalist placings, four Opens Semifinalist finishes, four Opens Quarterfinalist finishes, and numerous top speaker awards including three 4th place Overall finishes.
U16 Finalists
Hanson K. (DBS), Jake I. (DBS), and Daryl N. (DBS) delivered outstanding performances, advancing all the way to the U16 Grand Final and competing at the highest level of the tournament.
Open Semifinalists and Quarterfinalists
In the Open division, Jimi F. (CIS), Mollie M. (HKIS), Moses L. (CIS), and Tony S. (CIS) all reached the Semifinals, demonstrating exceptional skill against top competitors from across the Asia Pacific region. Gemma Y. (KGV), Jodie L. (IS), Pacey Q. (TLS), and Yeonseo K. (GSIS) earned Quarterfinalist places, showcasing their ability to compete at the elimination rounds.
Outstanding Speaker Awards
Our students earned impressive individual speaking honours. Jodie L. (IS), Mollie M. (HKIS), and Pacey Q. (TLS) each placed 4th Overall, while Gemma finished 10th and Tony 13th. In the Under-16 category, Jodie and Pacey tied for 3rd Best Speaker, with Gemma earning 6th place.
